Launching: The Gospel Advance
The name "Gospel Advance" reflects the principle that God is always advancing and that He expects His people to move forward with the good news of Jesus Christ. It is essential that we maximize the resources God has given us in our day for the furtherance of the gospel. This includes using new technologies and platforms to engage people of every nation and generation.
These tools allow the gospel to bypass doors that are largely closed, travel behind walls we cannot penetrate, and shine into countries where we cannot openly preach the gospel.
The Gospel Advance is driven by the belief that every platform should be a platform for preaching the gospel. Our goal is to sow the life-giving seed of the Word of God in every place possible. Time is short. We must advance with the gospel.
The Message
The message of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ never changes. The way of salvation is through Christ and Christ alone. The Gospel Advance will provide helpful tools that can be used to give this message to one person or to many.
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek" (Romans 1:16).
Our Mission
The Great Commission was given to the local New Testament church, and it is through the church that Christ is advancing His cause in the world. We desire to come alongside local churches to help fulfill that mission.
"How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!" (Romans 10:14-15).
Our Method
We are working to develop a multitude of gospel resources— many presentations of the one true gospel of Jesus Christ. These will be available in many languages and on multiple platforms. Our mission is to serve as a vehicle to help individual believers, charitable organizations, and local churches share the gospel around the world.
"…to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named...But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand" (Romans 15:20-21).
